AGATE BASIN
PALEO TIME PERIOD 12,000-8,000 BP

This is an artistic representation of an unfluted Paleo point. It's name comes from the Agate Basin, which drains, into the Cheyenne River in Wyoming. The distribution of the unfluted Paleo points varied throughout the Western United States and east to Ohio and southern Canada. Radio Carbon dated sites place some examples around 10,000 years old.
